Thursday 17th October saw an evening of shopping, music, drinks and canapés, and an insightful panel discussion surrounding the importance of sustainability in the fashion and beauty industries.
Second hand clothes were displayed for guests and sold rapidly throughout the course of the night; all donated to us by generous contributors from the local community. It is to these people we owe great thanks, as this quality clothing generated significant funding towards our mission: with all sales revenue going straight into the charity.
Our panel discussion captivated the audience with an eye-opening, participative conversation surrounding sustainable fashion: giving their insight and views on the changes and trends we are beginning to see. We would also like to thank our panel guests: Tiffany Kelly, Isabella Vrana, and Sasha Beulah, who all enriched the event with an inspiring and important conversation.
We extend our appreciation to the local entrepreneurs who displayed their environmentally friendly products on trade stands lining the Wellington Suite hosted by Blue Orchid Hotels, complimenting the extensive array of high donated quality clothes exhibited on multiple rails.
The evening allowed all attendees to aid IIT’s mission while simultaneously promoting and advocating clothing upcycle – an increasingly popular sustainable fashion movement.
We are delighted Fashion Frenzee was a successful event; contributing to our mission and raising awareness for a cause that we passionately support: sustainable living. We are thankful for the contributions to our charitable cause and thank all those who joined us at the event.
